Fill In The Blank Friday...

1. Blogging is    my favorite 'outlet' [well besides a mall!]  

2. A current fashion trend I wish I was brave enough to wear is    maybe not brave enough, but fit enough would be leggings or skinny jeans with an 80's top  

3. My greatest accomplishment in life thus far is    completing my BA in 3 years  

4. If I had to choose between a mountain or a beach vacation I'd choose    since I'm headed to Mexico for the second time, and went to Jamaica last year, and been to practically every beach in the states...I'll say beach!  

5. A talent I wish I had is    singing...I hope all of our children get my husbands beautiful voice!  

6. A talent I do have is    hmm...can't think of anything...I guess I'm not very talented! :/  

7. This week    the weather has been good

Fill In The Blank Friday...

1. The first thing I do in the morning to start my day is go potty !


2. Today I wish I was NOT working! This working Friday business is overrated! :) Seriously though..the cafeteria is COMPLETELY OUT of all cans of Mt. Dew AND Redbull !


3. If I had an extra $100 in my bank account today I'd add it to my School Loan Payment !
4. Tomorrow we will be coming home from a quick little camping trip & the weather is supposed to be heavenly !


5. Two things that don't go together are taking Murdock to the new dog park and wearing my favorite jeans! It was a sad moment..& the worst part was that it was someone else’s dog that jumped on me with their muddy, pond paws! :(
6. Something I can never pass up at the grocery store is buying mac & cheese. It drives my husband CRAZY! :)


7. The last time I tried something new  was Is it bad if I don’t even remember when I last tried something new ?!

1.   True happiness is     indescribable   

2.  The most surreal moment of my life was     perhaps our wedding day?  I have had a couple..some days I just wake up feeling like I should still be in High School   

3.  My favorite texture is     my baby blanket   

4.  My signature color is     Red [or black or white or gray too!]   

5.  My signature style is     I have no idea.  I feel like I have no style, I just get whatever strikes my fancy.  I guess in one word it would be modern   

6.  If I could choose one store to spend my life savings at, it would be     Once upon a time I would have said the Buckle, then Express, now I would have to say Banana Republic   

7.  My best thing about autumn is      EVERYTHING! [candles, colors, crisp air, scent, food, clothes, pumpkins, scenery, cuddling, crock pot food...]

Fill In The Blank Friday...

So...it's Fill In The Blank Friday time.  It's birthday themed this week since she celebrated her birthday yesterday..works well for me since mine is Sunday! :)

Happy Birthday Lauren!

1.  Birthdays are:    a VERY large deal at my house!

2.  My favorite birthday memory was    I honestly cannot pick one.  My mom made every.single.birthday so special to all of us!

3.  A birthday tradition I (or my family) has is    friend party, family party, single gift to open when you wake up the day of, and birthday dinner!

4.  If I had to choose one birthday meal to eat for the rest of my birthdays hence forward, I would choose    I'm much more about the dessert!  I want a cake every year! :)

5.  My birthday is on     August 15th - I'm a Leo! .

6.  If I could take a birthday trip I would go    maybe Cali? any beach I guess!

7.  The best gift I've ever received for my birthday was    all of the people to travel to help me celebrate my birthday each year.  I know schedules are difficult and I don't make it to all of theirs but I truly appreciate all of the effort every.single.year! 

So..right now I'm feeling a little spoiled.  I hope I don't come off as a little spoiled brat in the post but Birthdays really are a huge deal.  Always have been..always will be.  Everybody should get one day all about them! :)

1.  My favorite thing about this week has been    lots of family & friend time and no work  .

2.  The weather this week has been    seriously all over the board!  Raining like crazy, hot & sunny, sticky as all get out, and comfortably breezy..welcome to Iowa weather  .

3.  The last (interesting) item I received in the mail was    interesting thing..someone else's mail.  Exciting thing...our family photobook that I had made  .

4.  The last movie I saw was    When in Rome  .

5.  If I could be doing anything I felt like today I would    go to the pool & lay out with my friend Jen then come home to get ready to go out with Adam & all of out local frinds @ Summerfest..oh wait..I AM! :)

6.  As a teenager I was    more mature than most..I guess I always have been...maybe that's why my husband calls me the fun-hater! :)

7.  I wish I could trade lives for the day with    Adam..I would love to know what he's thinking for a day  .

6.  The biggest disaster I've ever encountered while traveling  was    a family vacation many moons ago when my sister got sick in the minivan & used by sacred baby blanket  .

7.  My favorite traveling memory is    I have SOO many!  My first one with Adam was great & all of my family vacas will forever be treasured!  My parents took us on a vacation somewhere every.single.summer  .

2. If I had a million dollars to give to one charity I would give it to  the Boys and Girls Club .

3. If I got to choose my "last meal" it would be  Filet mignon from 801 Grand, my moms raw-friers and bread dabs .

4. My hair is  finally getting long enough to throw into a ponytail !

5. If at first you don't succeed  pick yourself up and try again . 

6. I have always been  short .

7. Oh...and by the way  will be visiting my in-laws for the entire weekend .
