+ Spending the weekend at my parent's house.
+ Watching Cullyn take 1st place at his wrestling tournament
+ Researching our summer 2020 road trip

KIDS PURCHASES
+ This scratch off family movie poster.  It's brought our family so much bonding time!
+ These save, spend, share banks for teaching money management to kids.
+ This cell phone for Jordyn.  It calls and texts only.  No games, no apps, no contract!  It's $100 {I got it before Christmas for $70} and $20 each month for service.  It's perfect phone for kids that are starting to stay home alone or are at practices and need to communicate.

2 Things I'm Lovin' around my house [yesterday]..

We were BUSY bees yesterday!  Mallory & Bennett turned 3 yesterday!  So no blogging we went to Jumpin' Jacks in the morning to play.  We grabbed Carter from school and met up with Adam at Incredible Pizza [which was NOT 'incredible' but they had fun and loved playing the games afterwards.]  After naps we played outside with the neighborhood kids.  It was a beautiful sunny 75* day!

The kids were playing outside at 8am today!  Heading to the park for a picnic now...have a wonderful day!

My clock from At Home America...way back when!  This was something I purchased when I was in college...still living with my parents!

Second item...

Sorry for the terrible photo!  But I just love my mirror!  I saw it in a hotel room in Minnesota & fell in love!  So...being the shy person I am ...I asked them where they purchased them at.  None other than...IKEA!  I just love that store too!  So my mom & dad drove up there that Christmas to purchase it for me since they wouldn't ship it.  Don't I have amazing parents?  I mean really...A 4 hour drive [each way] to buy me this full length mirror?! :)

here are my two things i love this week...

My bedroom lamps.  We have one on each side of the bed.  I bought them at Pier1 a year or two ago I love that they are so neutral and go with pretty much anything.  I think I'll have them for a while!

Next item...

This is the quote I put above our bed.  I just love it!  I found it on sale at Kohls a few months back.  The only thing that stinks about these is that we can't take them when we move but I got such a good deal I thought I would put them up anyways.  This one says, "Just one lifetime wont be enough for us"

here are my two things i love this week...

My red furniture.  I love it...Adam does not.  I bought this when I moved out of my parents house & got my first apartment.  It's so me!  Unfortunately...when I moved in with Adam...it got demoted to the 'office' since we only have 1 living room area in our condo.  I am keeping it though because I love it and can't wait to use it after we move!

Next item...

I know...I know...This photo isn't exactly in my house, but they usually are so I decided that it's close enough!  See this photo is even more special because it is the first time I realized you can actually love a pet!  I never grew up with pets and honestly found them dirty & smelly.  My how that changes...one look at Murdock & I knew he was the next step in our life!  I <3 my boys!

here are my two things i love this week...

I love this mirror!  *Please do not notice how disgustingly dirty this mirror is!  I bought this at an At Home America party from a girl I worked with...Purchased in 2004/2005.  Very versatile!

Next item...

Okay...I cheated again this week but I just love my room!  Everything about it!  I love the low bed, the colors/throw, and all the dark furniture/mirror.  I think this blog has been good for me...I just now realized that I have over 5 mirrors hanging in my house [not including those in the bathroom!...can we said OVERKILL!?]  I bought the bedroom set from Homeakers Furniture when I moved out of my parents house [2007ish], and the bedding at Target before that...2005/2006?

Nope not the photo...the Coat Hanger behind [well above!] us...I found this at an art store by my old apartment and LOVE it!  Those little silver things pull down & there are 5 hooks.  Modern, Simple, & Cute!

Next item...

This was a birthday gift last year from my [now] hubby.  This photo doesn't do it justice [& I am not yet able to do what I want with it but...I'm holding out for when we finally get a house...then I will be able to display it how it should be!]  It has 5 shelves and tilt from the floor up to the wall.  Someday it wont store a bunch of junk in a spare room [I can dream!]

First...These gorgeous bowls from CB2 that I got from a dear friend as a wedding gift. I LOVE these because they sit tilted [well and because they are silver and oh so cute anyways!]


And of course...I love my wine! I won this modern bottle holder from a Christmas exchange...LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I found a guy who makes them I give them as gifts now! :)

2 Things I Love...Around my Home

it's tuesday...

which means another round [well, my 1st...but you get the idea...] of two things i love... around my home!

Here are my two things for the week....



Nothing fansy...but we got it as a wedding gift and I have it above the doorway into our bedroom. It helped me feel like 'it was official' when I didn't feel married yet.
I don't know if this is a common feeling as a newlywed or if it was because we lived together [shame on us!] before we were married...but I just love it!


next up...






Okay...I cheated a little...I love the whole room! It's my favorite...not because it's the bathroom but because it's a fun color. My mom and sisters [2] bought me the decor when I moved away and I just fell in love with it. When I moved [again] I decided to paint charcoal circles on the wall [well I decided to have my now husband do it...he was thrilled to say the least!] It's fun...and I love it! Oh yes...the saying is kinda fun too! :)
