Blog Friend

You guys...I met a blog friend for the first time!  It's crazy where blogging will take you!  This summer I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding for a blog friend's best friend.  It's crazy how you feel like you know someone so well, yet have never really chatted.  It was like catching up with an old friend -- since I 'met' Kayla online she's moved out of state, quit blogging, became a abc, graduated from her masters program, we've both added children, Adam and I moved, we lost Murdock, switched jobs, started photography, and so much more. .  Now, we just need to plan a weekend for my family to meet hers -- perhaps at the lake this summer? :)

HELP! me choose

a new header!

Jess is revamping my blog so it quits screaming 'beginner blogger' which is ridiculously nice, but now I have a problem.  Which header do I choose...they are all awesome!  Just when I think I've picked a favorite I totally change my mind.  I cannot make a decision for the life of me!  So it's really simple, just tell me

Outside my window..it's cold & gloomy.  27ish degrees and 3" of snow headed our way again.

Today I feel..exhausted!

I am thinking..I'll take a nap after I post this :) 

I am thankful..I have a hard working husband 

Tomorrow I am going..to pick up a hand made gift for our friends J&J's little one [arriving any day now!]

I am wearing..sweats!

I wish..all of our family could come this weekend

This weekend I..My baby sister is coming to hang out with us!

I am reading..The Happiness Project.  Finally!  :)

I am working on..housework..

Yesterday I..worked and our friend Dave came over for dinner.

Today's supper is..potato soup...mmm!  Can't wait for it with this weather!

I am hoping..to rent a couple of movies tonight, too!

I am hearing..silence!

I bet you didn't know..my sister is going to stay with us every Sunday though Thursday for a while, because SHE GOT A NEW JOB & IS MOVING TO DES MOINES!!!  We're so excited for her!!

Something I'm looking forward to is..Meeting my first ever BLOG FRIEND!!  Tommorrow!  It's going t be brief, but I'm still very excited nonetheless!

BUT...AWESOME night!  Went to dinner at a steakhouse for the first time with our friends R & N.  Then off to Mickey's for karaoke.  Too fun!  Adam even ended up singing Party in the USA by Miley! Didn't get home until nearly 2am!!
