This family was so much fun to meet.  The mom is an amazing crafter & the husband grew up with my husband as a kid.  It was so fun getting to meet these guys!  And they were such troopers with the COLD, windy afternoon we had! :)

2013 Lakehouse Updates

Each year I like to do a little recap of the projects we do at the lake house.  We ended up doing more than we had planned, but still have a long ways to go. 

We added insulation in the attic {no photos} and installed new windows and doors throughout the entire house.

   

   

Then we did the soffit and facia and started siding {only the front got finished before winter}.  

My dad also installed more outdoor electrical outlets and hookups for lighting.

I have high hopes to finish the siding and outdoor lighting {both projects are currently in progress} as well as interior trim this year.  I would also like to plant some simple landscaping {like Hastas} around the back of the house.

Photos on Friday::B Family Photoshoot {+ random cat}

This isn't my first time photographing this adorable family or their little girl, but this is the first photo session that has been taken over by a stray cat!  :)  The animal lovers they are, they kept the cat in the photos.  And contemplated taking her home!  

Photos on Friday::M & Mama Photoshoot {a pillow fight!}

This is hands-down my favorite client session to date.  We had SO much fun!  And the love in the room was just exploding.  This mama had these photos taken for her husband {and Mav's daddy} for Christmas.  What an awesome idea.  *It was also my messiest session to date.  :)  I am still pulling feathers from my camera bag! :)  Enjoy!!
