Fall Bucket List 2018

Admittedly, summer was a little 'ehh' for us.  Nothing bad, I just wasn't very intentional about my time.  We did numerous fun things, but we were very focused on getting settled in the house.  Now that we're settled, I'm ready to make this house feel like a home.  One of the things we fell in love with most about this house was it's open space.  Not just a pretty area to decorate, but lots of spaces to fill out home with loved ones. I'm dreaming of crisp weekend mornings spent on the patio or the three seasons porch with the kids, pumpkin carving parties in the garage, and soup Sundays with football on the big screen.

Fall Bucket List | 2016

During this season, after a good amount of travel, I'm craving some good family time at home, so a simple fall bucket list...

1.  Pick apples at the orchard
2.  Bake pumpkin bread
3.  Eat breakfast on the deck on a chilly weekend morning
4.  Make s'mores while enjoying a moscow mule
5.  Play in the leaves as a family
6.  Go on a fall scavengar hunt with the kids
7.  Curl up with a good book
8.  Fill the house with new fall scents
9.  Take family photos
10. Enjoy a fall picnic in the leaves

pumpkin patch. [2014]

Now that the snow has started falling, I figured I better post some of the photos from the pumpkin patch.  sigh But...it's still November, not even thanksgiving yet, so that makes it acceptable, right?!

The photos until this point happened at this stand on the side of the road.  They used to have it at their house, and you could pick you're own, but they're relocated it to the street this year.  At first I was disappointed, but the owners are just so nice and the kids loved petting the animals and running around.  Plus, they had awesome pumpkins!

The only photo of the three of us from that night--clearly the kids missed the memo!

The second half of the photos are from the large orchard just North of us.  Adam worked late one night, so I took the kids for something fun to do.  Luckily, we already had a bunch of pumpkins, because the field {where you could pick your own} was almost completely out!  They still loved the hay ride.  Sadly we didn't have time for a lot of the fun stuff, but it wasn't a big deal because this is the same place we pick apples, so they had just played on everything the month before.
