Jordyn | 2 Year Old Preschool

It's amazing to see how much you've grown this year, Jordyn.  Physically, but even more so, intellectually.  You're a kind, loving, sassy, helper with a sweet soul.  You loved your teachers and I'm pretty sure they loved you even more.  I'm so excited you'll be going back to the same school two mornings a week next year.  It seems like just yesterday we were sending you off for your first day.  Enjoy your summer break, sis!  PS...did you really have 7 coats this year?

Photos on Friday::Bella Salons & Spas Photoshoot

Perfect timing for this post, since I happen to be spending part of my afternoon at Bella today getting a new style!  Back to blonde again, plus I'm chopping it again!  :)

A month ago I got the privilege of photographing a local salon & spa company, Bella, with three locations in the metro area.  Half of the shoot I photographed the stylists working and the second half I photographed the models hair.  It was one of those sessions that totally stretched me as a photographer and in return fueled me as a person.  I am so blessed to have had the opportunity!

1 Month Comparison {J+C}

I thought they looked almost identical...until I put their photos side by side.  Jordyn definitely had more hair.  Cullyn's hair and eyes are much lighter than Jordyns.  Their build is very similar in my opinion.

The 2nd Trimester [in Photos]

With the close of the 2nd trimester,  I decided it was time to look back on all the photos.  So here are weeks 14-26 with baby H2!

Splish, Splash!

Gone are the quiet, relaxing baths.  Jordyn's all about splashing, climbing and yelling in the bathtub.  I think her voice echos more in there, she just yells and then laughs over and over!  Silly girl! 

Side Note: I started filling the bathtub for her last week and run to unload the dishwasher.  I totally forgot about it.  I ran in when I remembered and shut the water off just.in.time as it was LEVEL with the side of the tub...Whoops!! 

Waterbabies Swimming Lessons

Jordyn has graduated from Waterbabies!  She has been taking swimming lessons at our local YMCA twice a week for the past 3 weeks.  She's learning to kick on her tummy and back and learning to go under water.  Most of all she just likes splashing!  Aunie Isha and Dad were each able to swim with her one night too!  Of course the night I brought my camera I forgot a swimsuit for my child...FAIL!  Oh well!  I'm glad we decided to enroll her at this age, she seemed to do better than most of the older kids.  I'm planning to do another round this winter/spring and enroll her in outdoor swimming lessons through the rec center this summer [they have to be 18 months].  Getting this girl used to the water early!! :)

How We Hang When Dad's Away...

Adam worked last Saturday night, so it was Jordyn and I [& Murdock] left to fend for ourselves.  After going into the office to get caught up on some stuff, we stopped by Redbox for a 3 movies [chick flicks!].  We [ok, I!] ordered pizza in and spent the night playing with my kids.  We had so much fun!  As awesome as the lake is, it's been fun having the last couple of weekends in the condo.  Reminds me of old times! :)
