As a photographer, I'm not sure if there is anything better than knowing you're taking a family's 1st real 'family photo'  For this family, it had been years, and two 'in-laws' ago.

A Photo :: Cru9 Wine

Last fall I mentioned working with a wine company, but was waiting until it was being produced for the public before I shared.  We'll it's now up and running, so I wanted to share a few photos.  Look at those adorable bulldogs!! It was such a special day.  We shot the photos on their property and ended with an impromptu wine and charcuterie night on their back patio cheers-ing to their 25th wedding anniversary and the launch of this new business venture!  It didn't hurt that they sent me home with a few bottles of wine either! ;)

A Photo :: Denny Wedding

This wedding was last fall, so there are many details I can't even pretend to remember them all,  Three things that stand out from this day... 1-I broke my beloved 50mm lens 2-Her flowers are my favorite yet! 3-The best part of family photos was seeing that they had all 4 parents, and 8 grandparents with them.  This was the first wedding I have photographed that had that and I just hope they realize it's a rare, but so beautiful thing.  The love and knowledge in that church was overwhelming!

This post is long overdue, but I couldn't skip it!  This is Darian.  Many moons ago, I was good friends with her mama, and therefore had the privilege of watching her grow up since she was little girl.  Unfortunately, they live in Missouri now, so I'm forced to see her and her two siblings grow up via Instagram.  Meet Daian, a softball loving, book reading, wise beyond her years gal...
