Happy Valentine's Day!

I wish so badly I was home with my kiddos making everything heart shaped and shades of red today, but now that they're in school it isn't really possible.  I hope they're having a blast exchanging Valentine's with their friends.  I'm looking forward to picking them up a little early and surprising them with a few goodies and then going to dinner with Adam, even if we got the last reservations {8p! -- booked 2 weeks ago!} at Simon's.

The photos below are from a little shoot the kids got to do for my sister's company.

NYC Day 6 | Live with Kelly, Good Morning America, Tavern on the Green, Carrie's House, Katz Deli

Monday, our last day! :(  Mom and I woke up bright any early to head over to the Live with Kelly show.  The website showed tickets for that day were sold out {when we looked months in advance} but that a certain number of people got selected from the crowd, so we were hoping for that.  Unfortunately, as newbies to NYC we didn't know that Kelly doesn't tape the month of August. :(  So, we swung by Dough doughnuts and decided to walk back past our hotel, the other direction, to catch Good Morning America instead.  ;)

After that, we shopped 5th Avenue for a bit before walk up through Central Park, again {we must have went to Central Park almost every day we were in NYC!} to find a canvas from a street vendor outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art before catching a pedicab to Tavern on the Green for lunch {another highlight for me!!}

After lunch, we took the subway to Carrie's House from Sex in the City and strolled through the shops in West Village {beautiful part of the city!!}, before going to Katz Deli for dinner {despite being open for many years and being very popular, the pastrami sandwich was not for us!} So, we headed to Popbar for dessert before heading to our hotel for an early nights rest since we flew out early the following morning.

And that's a NYC wrap!
