15 Minutes or less

It's no secret I love to plan.  Scheduling things is my favorite activity after napping! ;)  My planner is digital, color coded, 24 months out, and down to the 15 minute increment.  That being said, when something ends early or gets cancelled and I have an 'extra' 15 minutes to spare I often find myself unsure what to do with that time.  I can spent half of that time justing thinking of what I could do.  Take a nap?  Go for a walk?  Call a friend?  Flip laundry?  Silly, yes, but true.  So I've found it helpful to have a list of tasks that could be done in 15 minutes or less.  Here are 20 of my favorite ideas to fill your time if you find yourself with 15 minutes or less to spare...

Happy Valentine's Day!

I wish so badly I was home with my kiddos making everything heart shaped and shades of red today, but now that they're in school it isn't really possible.  I hope they're having a blast exchanging Valentine's with their friends.  I'm looking forward to picking them up a little early and surprising them with a few goodies and then going to dinner with Adam, even if we got the last reservations {8p! -- booked 2 weeks ago!} at Simon's.

One Year From Today...

My baby sister and Brad will {finally} be married on the beach in Florida!

On the same beach that they have been coming to together for the past three years.
On the same beach that Brad just knelt down on, during sunset, and asked Alicia to become his wife.
On the same beach they will {hopefully} be bringing their children and grandchildren to years from now.

So of course I'm already giddy thinking about my entire family all dressed up in fancy wedding clothes on the beach getting a family photo!  I couldn't be more excited, except when I think about Jordyn & Cullyn walking {OMG, Cullyn will be that big!} down the sandy beach together--my heart is exploding!

Let the wedding planning begin continue! :)

We're doing okay..

..We want a house so bad we could freak..

[We have a new, beautiful condo that so many would 'freak' for]

..We want Adam to find a job that makes him as happy as mine does..

[We both have jobs in a time when so many don't]

..We want a new truck instead of the old Altima..
[We have a paid off running [thank God!] car]

..We want a yard for Murdock to run and play in..
[We have so many beautiful parks and public areas to play at]

..We wish we had more money to see all the places we want to..
[We should use this time to explore the small things close to us]

..We're so unhappy with our bodies..
[We're overall healthy]

Sometimes it's so hard to see our friends with brand new homes and vehicles.  Or precious children that we feel selfish for wanting in this tiny condo.  I just wish there was a  'plan' to follow that would lead us exactly where we want to be.  Sometimes it's easy to forget we have only been married a year.  And that everyone has to start somewhere...
