Easter Basket Ideas | Toddlers {boy & girl}

How is Easter already this Sunday?  I have never been more thankful that I've been picking things up here and there for the last few months!  Had it not been for that, I would be in big trouble considering we're celebrating at the lake this year and the nearest place to shop is 45-60 minutes away!

Here is Jordyn's basket {4 and 1/2 years}

Here is Cullyn's basket {3 years next month}

I realize it looks like Cullyn is getting so much less than Jordyn, but I really try to get useful things/stuff they need.  Jordyn really needed new swimsuits and they're young enough they really don't care.  Plus Cullyn is also getting these {they just aren't here yet} and Adam grabbed him a ball & bat, too!

  1. I love your use of the saucer chairs as the basket! Such a cute idea! I might be snagging that idea. :)

    1. Thanks! It actually came about because I forgot where I put their real Easter baskets when we moved and found these for $5 at Raygun ;) I've also seen people using open {upside down} umbrellas which I thought was a cute idea if you needed umbrellas. Happy {early} Easter! :)

    1. Thanks! It works great, since most kids usually need one before summer anyways!

  3. I love the carrot utensils and the days of the week underwear! I want to get a set for Noah soon. I also love your unconventional basket. A friend of mine is doing the upside down umbrella this year. Thanks for linking up!

    1. Aren't they adorable?! I find the best stuff at World Market! I almost did the umbrella thing, but we already have a few {that we never use!} so I decided not to, but man does it look cute!! :)

  4. I LOVE that you are using the chairs as their baskets! That is awesome! I've looked at those chairs for my littles. Cam got a teether popper for Christmas and loves it. I may have to get serious about those chairs now too. I wanted that striped bathing suit from Target for my little girl, but haven't seen it in her size. Boo! They are going to love all their goodies!

    1. It's so funny because I hadn't ever see them before and it was a total impulse buy, but they must be popular, because several people have commented on them. I loved that they can be used in the snow, or stacked, or sat in, or even in a kiddie pool!

    1. They are! I'm excited to see how much the kids like them. Since we don't own any sleds {& live in Iowa--how is that even possible?!} at the very least I'm sure they'll use them outside next winter! ;)
