We spent the week checking off pesky tasks {think dentist, well-checks, oil changes, etc.} since we were home all week {1 of just 2 weeks of the summer were home with no visitors}, but my real FAVORITE this week is that we leave for a 2 week trip back to Iowa tomorrow!.png)
Last Saturday night I snagged some last minute tickets to Chris Stapleton {& Lainey Wilson} and for Jordyn and I and it was the best decision! I bought cheap seats {section 333} but we ran into a friend that got us into the pit so we watched it 3 rows from the stage.

Cullyn learned {well started learning} to cut Adam's hair. Fun fact, I started cutting hair for family and friends when I was 13, so it seemed like the perfect time to teach him. I think it was a bigger process than he was expecting ;)

Because I have so much spare time on my hands {sarcasm!} I decided to try a new hobby -- Punch Needling. I bought my kit on a random Target wander over a year ago, but they're on Amazon, too. I want to get this kit next time!

I spent Sunday after church floating in the pool all by myself {I napped, read my book, and listened to music} and it was so darn relaxing! I told myself last year I was going to take advantage of our pool more, and so far I am!

I read The Silent Patient this week.
It is pretty good. I would say 4/5 even though I guessed the ending part way through.
