Well, that break really escalated!
SO much life has happened since December 2023! I never intended to stop blogging, but 2023 brought a huge move across the country and if I'm being honest it took a bit to get our feet on the ground! Finding sports teams, doctors, specialists, friends, the house we wanted, you name it! We bought a house nearby in May 2024 and moved out of our rental house that summer. I can't believe we've been at our 'new' house for over a year already! It's wild how fast time goes! The kids are now in 7th and 8th grades -- next year we have a HIGH schooler and our first driver!
Here's a little catch up/recap...
1) What did you do recent that you’ve never done before? We took the kids to Punta Cana which was new for them, and we went on our first Disney Cruise with my whole family.
2) Did anyone close to you give birth? My youngest sister had a baby!!! That was the biggest blessing! It isn't my story to share, but it's safe to say we're all obsessed! And my niece had her 4th child! :) I'm currently a Great Aunt to 6 {soon to be 7!}
3) Did anyone close to you die? I lost my 'grandpa' Keith in January and my Grandma Laura in March -- 2025 started off quite rough!

5) What dates from 2024 will be etched in your memory forever? 10/23/2024 - Adam & I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary!
6) What was your biggest achievement this year? Taking my first hosted group on the Mediterranean Cruise.
7) What was your biggest failure? I've taken the kids to all their appointments, but I haven't been to a doctor yet and I'm very overdue for a mammogram!
8) What was the best thing you bought? Our house! We also replaced Adam's car after someone hit him, and my Tahoe since it was falling apart!
9) Where did most of your money go? See question 9! ;) Plus traveling:)
10) What did you get really, really excited about? Our Europe trip! Each time we've had family/friends home visit!
11) What do you wish you had done more of? Working out!
12) What do you wish you had done less of? Stressing!
13) How did your spend Christmas? In Iowa! :) We did our little Christmas the morning of Christmas Eve and then flew to Iowa. We stayed with my family for the first few days and then Adams for a bit and then out to our friends for a day before flying back to Florida.
14) What was your favorite TV program? Jordyn and I watched The Summer I Turned Pretty Series together.
15) What did you want and get? To be car payment free, which wasn't easy since we both got new cars!
