After a summer of eating out like 10+ meals a week, we're back to a meal plan!
Monday-I made beef rites & french fries. Tuesday-Last night I made backed pork chops, air fryer baby potatoes, green beans, & croissants. Wednesday-Tonight we made breakfast for dinner, which we hadn't had FOREVER! Thursday-Jordyn and I are going to a volleyball game and Cullyn has football, so Adam will be on dinner duty. :) Friday-TBD {depends on what we decide to serve Saturday night} Probably Pizza Friday and Tacos on Saturday after football.
What I’m Reminiscing About
Summer! What the heck happened to it? It was a GREAT summer, it just went way too fast! I can't believe I only have 4 {!!!} summer left with both kids at home! Absolutely devastating!
What I’m Loving
We have had sooo much rain in Florida recently & I LOVE a nice rainy day! It's just so cozy and usually super productive for me!
What We’ve Been Up To
Football practice and games for Cullyn. School has been going for 2.5 weeks, so a lot of back to school things. In August, we had Adam's sisters, our besties, my mom/aunt/cousin, and lake friends come stay with us, so we've been doing all the fun things! :)
What I’m Working OnWORK! Man, it feels so good to be focusing on work again. Not just bare minimum/put the fire out things, but actually pouring into my work. I absolutely love what I do, and selfishly, I love having 8 hours a day to build this business. And lucky for me, my clients are keeping me busy right now! I'm still booking fall trips, a few Christmas trips, and several Spring Break trips. It's also been a month full of appointments -- ortho, haircuts, dentist, etc.
What I’m Excited AboutWe're doing a family fantasy football league, which I'm excited for. There are perks of kids getting older, and this is one of them. Watching Cullyn play football has also made me excited this month. I'm also excited for Adam and Cullyn's fishing trip that they're going on soon. All the guys in Adam's family are going and they're going to make some great memories!
When my sister in laws were in town we watched the Leanne Morgan comedy special & I don't normally love comedy, but I loved it! I seriously laughed so hard! The crazy thing is I had read her book, but hadn't ever heard her comedy.
What I’m Listening To
The SILENCE…the house is so quiet now that these kids are back in school. Bittersweet for sure!
What I’m Doing This Weekend
Not a ton -- Friday is open, Saturday Cullyn plays football and then some football families are coming over for a little pool party, and Sunday we'll go to church. I may take Jordyn to the mall Sunday, too.
