Road Trip Days 2 & 3 | Raleigh, NC

Day 1 here.

Day 2 we woke up bright and early and headed for Raleigh, North Carolina.  We arrived early afternoon and checked into the Hilton Garden Inn {Crabtree Valley} and cleaned up before heading to dinner at Bella Monica {our favorite of the trip!} where the maître d' was fantastic and brought us two extra appetizers because he knew we were from out of town and he just wanted us to try them!  Then back to the hotel for an early bedtime {9p}.

Day 3 we woke bright and early and headed to breakfast at Joule.  It was an adorable place with excellent food. From there we went to Marbles Kids Musuem which was also awesome!  We explored the first floor and then my sister Alicia and her husband Brad joined us.  This was the first time we had seen them since June, so we were as pumped as the kids!  We went to lunch at Beasley's Chicken + Honey which was just okay before returning to the museum for the afternoon.  From there we checked into the hotel and got cleaned up because the wedding celebration was that evening.  Unfortunately due to the hurricane and continuous rain, they actually rescheduled their wedding for summer of 2017, but they had a beautiful, intimate wedding celebration at her cousin's home that evening for all of the guests that made the trip.

Unfortunately, all photos from days 3 and 4 are MISSING from my computer.  I am absoluately heart broken!  I had so many from the Children's Museum, including one of my kids running to Auntie Esha & Uncle Brad. :(  I hope that memory stays etched in my mind forever!
