October 7th was supposed to be Sam and Tom's wedding, on Hilton Head Island. As everyone knows, a hurricane came up the East coast that week. At the last minute, the wedding Sam and Tom dreamed of was cancelled. The island was evaculated and they planned a celebration for local guests in Raleigh, North Carolina instead. Throughout the entire process, they were so mature and kept the big picture in mind. You would have found me in the fetal position of my bedroom, refusing to come out! But at the end of the day, the guests are safe and they're still in love. They decided to do a committment ceremony on October 7th and reschedule the actual wedding for June of 2017.
