Saturday in Monte :: Trail Walk, Picnic Lunch, Kite Flying

I mentioned earlier that our heater quit at the lake house this weekend and we now need to purchase a new heating & cooling system. Boo!  Hello, we have like 10k in additional expenses this summer…not really the time!  {is it ever?!}

BUT… luckily, our weekend had some really great moments too.

Friday night we stayed in town to hang out with friends, so Saturday morning after our family snuggle session {a new weekend tradition at our house} we headed to the lake.  We unloaded the car, packed sandwiches, and headed to Stagecoach Trail {a couple of miles from the lake house}.

We walked the 3 mile trail loop, stopping for a picnic lunch and to fly a kite.  The weather was a little breezy, but the sun was blaring, so it was perfect!  We let Murdock and Jordyn run and they LOVED it! I can't wait for more of these days in the future.  It was just what we all needed! ;)
