Total weight gain: 18lbs
Size and growth of the baby: about 2 1/2lbs. & just over 15 inches long
From my weekly email: Your baby's muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and the head is getting bigger to accommodate a growing brain – which is busy developing billions of neurons. Every day, about 200 milligrams of calcium is deposited in your baby's skeleton, which is now hardening. With this rapid growth, it's no surprise that your baby's nutritional needs reach their peak during this trimester.
Sex: it's a surprise!
Maternity clothes: yes
Sleep: not bad...waking up for lots of poppy breaks throughout the night
Best moment(s) of the week: taking my glucose test [not because it was pleasant, but because it's exciting to be this far along already! :]
Movement: more and more!
Food cravings/aversions: not much this week, I feel like my appetite has hit a plateaued a bit.
Morning sickness: gone
Symptoms: some minor back pain and the acid seems to be getting worse again [if that is possible!]
Belly button in or out: in, but flattening
What I miss: bending over to pick things up and being able to breath at the same time!
What I'm looking forward to: finding out the results of our glucose test!
