Total weight gain: Still floating from 7-8 pounds
Size and growth of the baby: 5-6oz. similar to a turnip
From my weekly email: Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — the lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and is around 5 inches long from head to bottom. He/she can move her joints, and the sweat glands are starting to develop.
Sex: still a surprise...unless we see something we shouldn't next week!
