::Thursday::
Thursday night we had another Date Night. Adam made a FANTASTIC Jamaican meal! So at the last minute we invited over our friends A&P to join us. We enjoyed the night listening to Jamaican Music in our Jamaican Outfits with our Jamaican Drinks! :)
::Friday::
Adam & I left work a little early Friday to head back to my hometown for a performance at the GBPAC with my family. We saw the San Jose Taiko perform. It was AMAZING! I have no idea how they memorize those really long songs & how they manage to be so 'spot on' with either other. For those of you who don't know what the San Jose Taiko is like picture parts from the movie 'Drumline' and intensified with a Japanese spin. I saw 'STOMP' when I was in college and I would say this was just as good! After that we went to one of my favorite restaurants back home..Peppers..for dinner. It was great! Thanks Mom & Dad for the tickets in our Easter Baskets this year!!
::Saturday::
Saturday Adam & I each had a Bachelor & Bachelorette Party to attend. The Bachelorette is his cousin, T and the Bachelor is her fiance, S. So..Adam got up early for the 1 1/2 hour drive with my car and went golfing [at a Pro Course] and then gambling. I went shopping with my mom & sister [details for another post]. Later my sister took my to IA City [1 1/2 hours] to meet the girls for dinner at the Texas Roadhouse and back to the Bride's condo for drinks & games. There were 25-30 of us...we had a great time! Then I caught a ride with a couple of Adam's cousins back to Montezuma [where Adam went after golfing]. I arrived after midnight & stayed up talking until almost 3am! [2 late nights in a row for me...YIKES!]
::Sunday::
Sunday we got to meet Baby Paisley for the first time! Baby P is Adam's cousin Kris & Star's little girl. She was born July 30th, 2009. She is an absolute doll! She crawls & climbs all over. She also pulls herself up & stands. She is so precious...I just wanted to take her home with me. I wish they lived closer than Oklahoma but Adam & I decided we'll be making a trip down there soon!
After we left Montezuma we headed to Tama to pick up Murdock and then back towards home. My parents kept him for the weekend so we could have some fun without worrying about how long he had been in his kennel. Neatless to say we were both EXHAUSTED when we got home [after 9 1/2 hours of driving this weekend] and didn't do much but sit on the couch and go to bed early!
