Mama M's Friday Blog Train...
1. Have you ever hit an animal with your vehicle?
I have...I hit a raccoon when I was 16 and thought I ruined my car. I called my dad and he came to save me & said the only thing wrong was that a plastic piece came off. I was sure oil was spewing out...but very wrong. I remember being soo mad at that raccoon...ahh to be 16 again! :)
2. When you see a string on your clothes do you pull it off or cut if off?
Most of the time I yank it off. I have learned over the years to hold on close to the beginning of the string so it wont all unravel.
3. Did you have your own room or share a room when you were young?
I always had my own room...although in the summer time me & my 2 sisters would all sleep in Ashley's [middle child] room. We were notorious for singing [...even though we're TER.R.IBLE!] "Fishing in the Dark" in parts! LOL
4. Would you rather wear the same thing for the rest of your life or eat the same thing for the rest of your life?
I think I could probably do either. My husband will tell you...I don't mind rewearing clothes [he refuses & reminds me often that it's gross] and food isn't a big deal to me. As long as I have it I'm good... before my husband I ate the same thing for lunch & dinner every day. Lame I know!
*NOTE: I DO NOT rewear undergarments! I'm talking about like jeans & dress clothes...etc! Just thought I should clarify that! :)
5. What was your favorite TV show as a child?
We didn't really watch TV. We had one but we never cared to watch it. My mom had a daycare so we PLAYED!! Played inside, played outside, played upstairs, played downstairs, played school, played sunday school, played doctor, played house, played on our rooms...you get it. We just played a LOT. There were always kids @ the house or in the neighborhood to play with.
*Note: This was when kids could still play without a 'planned playdate' Remember those times?! :)
Friday
Adam was invited to a 'boys night' so he'll be downtown drinking & getting some boy time in. So...what better excuse to catch up with the girls I miss most?! I invited 5 girls to come over & watch chick Flicks & hang out. If the night get too crazy we may have a sleepover like old times! :) *I'll try to remember to take photos!
Saturday
Not much planned during the day. Adam & I cleaned the house like crazy last night so that is all done & out of the way! :) We plan to relax & spend some time with our puppy! At 4:30 I'm going over to a friends house to watch her 2 kiddos so she can throw a surprise party for her brother...I'm so excited I just love her & her kids & never get to see them enough. Adam's band plays from 9-1am so when Lindsey gets home I'll go catch the end of Adam's band playing. Should be a fun night.
Sunday
Adam's parents will be in town [from the night before] so we'll hang with them for a while & then hopefully have date #2!! :) I'll fill you in on the details next week!
*It's snowing again! :(
*I worked out THREE [3] times this week! :) It had been too long! Hopefully I'm back in the groove until next winter!
*Adam finalized our 1st Anniversary trip [October!] to somewhere out of the country...but it's a surprise! :)
What are your plans for the weekend? Cleaning? Relaxing? Spending time with Family or Friends?
