..Purchase sign final papers for a LAKE HOUSE [a put down a minimal down payment so you can afford some of the many necessary remodels]

..Go to the Store for necessities [paper products, dishes, trashcans, etc.]

..Go to the Flooring Store for flooring [wood floors, carpet, underlayment, padding, tile, & cement stuff]

..Go to the Paint Store for paint [& primer & brushes & trays & plastic & masks]

Saturday

..Have your parents and friends come over to prime and paint every wall of your lake house while you watch because you’re pregnant

..Have another friend start pruning everything in sight

Sunday

..Have your parents and sister continue to paint walls and kitchen cabinets while you and your husband drive to the store for another $114.38 of stuff you didn’t think you would need [fuses, more paint, crack repair stuff, light bulbs, spray paint, etc.].  

*Note: the closest ‘home improvement store’ is 62.89miles EACH WAY]

Monday

..Have your mom, sister, and mother in law continue to paint your walls, kitchen cabinets, and bookshelf.

..Have your dad, husband, and father in law pull off the fireproof fake rock stuff around the fireplace.

..Have your dad, husband, and father in law lay slate tiles around the fireplace.

..Have your dad start replacing all of the 2 prong outlets with 3 prong outlets.

..Have your husband and father in law fix the crack in the floor.

..Don’t forget to run to swim for a couple of hours to cool down from the 100* temps before heading home for the weekend!

Bittersweet...

We received some bittersweet news this past weekend.

Our friend Eric...

although I haven't posted a lot about him, he and Adam spend a lot of time together

he's technically a 'client' of Adam's but has become much more of a friend

Well...he got a new job.  A big promotion and the next big step in his career.  

This is awesome, but we're sad that to say it's in Oklahoma.  

We're gonna miss him.  His tenderness with Murdock, his company over dinner, and most of all his friendship with Adam.  Although I guess this means a weekend getaway is soon to come. 

Congrats Eric!  We're very excited for you!
