Cullyn {11 Months}

Happy 11 Months, Little Man!  I'm in complete disbelief we'll be celebrating your first birthday a month from tomorrow.  You are acting like a little boy now, it's so bittersweet.
 

You are a crazy little boy now.  You climb on anything and you're into everything, just like little boys should.  You love music and start dancing anytime you hear it.  You practically run  behind little push toys.  You are strong.  And you hate diaper changes and getting dressed.  It should also be noted that you're a biter. Mom, dad, & sissy are your main victims! :(

You've been pretty healthy this month!  You're sleeping better than ever before!  We're trying to cut your morning nap, so you take just one longer {2 hour} nap each day, and sometimes a 10 minute car nap in the early afternoon.  You go to bed around 8p and wake about 7/8a these days.

You don't like your bottles nearly as much these days, so you get about 3 or 4, eight-ounce bottles throughout the day.  You insist on holding the bottle yourself, which is awesome and sad all at the same time.  You love table food so much and will pretty much eat anything!  We finely dice everything up and you feed yourself.  You’ve had avacados, puffs, peaches, pears, fruit bars, green beans, pees, lima beans cheerios, eggs, lasagna, chicken, pizza, yogurt, pancakes, apples, pasta, rice, sushi.  Plus lots of dog food and paper!

You're still in size 3 diapers, size 6 or 9 month onesies, and 9 month clothes.  You wear 6-12 month jammies.  You weigh about 20 lbs {clothed}. You started wearing {size 4 Stride Rite} shoes this month.  You still have 6 teeth {4 on top, 2 on bottom}

You had a followup with the ENT and your ears {& hearing} look fabulous, so you don't have to go back for another 3 months! :)  You also celebrated your first St. Patrick's Day.

Jordyn Lynn [11 Months]

1 month away from 1 year old...yikes! Where id my baby go?!
You're just over 20lbs now. Your clothes are mainly 9-12 months; your jammies 12-18 months, onsies 9 months, jeans 12-18 months onsies, and size 3 diapers. You have 7 teeth now!

Your schedule was pretty much out the window this month as you had an ear infection, followed by 3 new teeth, followed by what we thought was a horrible diaper rash, which turned out to be hand, foot, & mouth.  You only drank bottles [no food] for almost a week.  We encouraged as much liquid as possible and your sleep was pretty horrible this month.  You so desperately wanted to sleep, but weren't able to with the high fevers and pain from teething and your virus.  Luckily, you're on the up side again.  We're so thankful you're typically a healthy baby!
You're standing up all the time now, but not taking steps yet.  You LOVE to play with the letter magnets on the refridgerator and open the kitchen cabinets.  Your talking toys/books are your favorite.  You went to Zoo Music for the first time this month and we cheered on the Iowa Hawkeyes a lot!  Mainly we just snuggled and nursed you back to health.  We need you in tip-top shape for your 1st Birthday Party next month!
