5 Gift Ideas for People Healing

Whether you know someone recovering from a surgery, a new baby, or the loss of a loved one, it's always fun to show people a little extra love sometimes.  Here are some of the ways I was blessed when recovering from my hysterectomy.

FOOD
Premade meals that just need heated are perfect.  So are easy, individual lunches {think Panera Mac & Cheese} they can quickly make if they're recovering at home alone.

+ dinners {spaghetti, lasagna, French dips, enchiladas, pizza, etc.}
+ breakfasts {breakfast pizza, fruit, muffins, donuts, cinnamon rolls}
+ desserts {cookies, bars, cake, energy bites, chocolate}

FLOWERS {or plants!}
The classic, that you can never go wrong with.

GIFTS
Cozy blanket, puzzle, book, candle, heated blanket, loungewear, a robe, slippers, or Chapstick.

SERVICES
Depending on the time of year/ age of the person/ how long they'll be recovering, a service can be so valuable.  Mowing their yard {or having it hired}, picking up leaves, cleaning their house, doing their laundry, etc.  Of course it depends on how well you know the person, but these are things they may love help with but would never ask for!

CARDS, TEXTS, CALLS, PRAYERS, FACETIMES -- a quick check in means so much more than you probably think.  Life is busy, but a quick text can bring so much joy to someone recovering!
