We had the best weekend!
On Thursday, the school informed us Friday would be a day of remote learning due to the extreme cold. Friday after work I picked the kids up from my in laws and Cullyn had a few friends over for a sleepover. He had been begging to have these boys over for months! They played so many rounds of Nerf wars and Pokemon. They were in and out of the hot tub multiple times and watched Star Wars, complete with butter popcorn and movie theater candy, at 9a. He was in heaven. Jordyn went to a sleepover with her cousin Kennedy so it worked great!
Saturday the kids played until they went home that afternoon. That evening we went to our great niece's 2nd birthday party.
Sunday we got dressed up in our what was supposed to be New Year's Eve attire, ate donuts and headed to church.
After church the guys went ice fishing with the little girls. I got to spend the afternoon chatting and lounging with my friends Brooke and Hannah while the boys played downstairs. When they were done we let the kids make Snow Cones with real snow and enjoyed dinner and played cards.
