Photos from the non-Disney part of our trip.
We went to Huntington Beach the day we arrived and the day we left. The first day was a super sunny weekend and the beach was packed. We had a hard time finding a place for lunch, but finally found a place that served fresh seafood and sushi so we went there. The last day of our trip we arrived at the beach early and had the place almost to ourselves! Much to my surprise, the kids and Adam spent hours searching for the perfect shells when the tide went out. I was fearful the kids would be ready to leave 15 minutes after we got there since we didn't have beach toys and they couldn't swim before our flight. Speaking of tides, this was the kids' first exposure to the Pacific Ocean and the waves caught them off guard the first time. Cullyn was soaked up to his shoulder, but just happy he didn't fall down. His poor face was sheer panic. Both kids loved the beach and can now say they're dipped their toes in both the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans.
