You guys! 2020 has been dumb for so many reasons, but one good thing is that it's allowed us to pull way back. Now that we have our weekends free again, we've started doing consistent Family Dinners with my in laws. We have a bigger family {21.5 if we all show -- my niece is expecting, hence the .5 ;} so we do them once a month to make it manageable. We have had so much fun catching up with each other on these days! You could do them as frequent as you wish; the first Sunday of the month seems best for us. We do it right after church for a late lunch. Over the summer we did them outside, now that it's colder in Iowa, we do it in a garage {my niece, sister in law, and us all have large garages} We all bring pieces of the meal and cook it together. These are always fun meals, that we maybe wouldn't go to the work of on our own.
