MNSSHP | Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

I just returned from a magical night at Mickey's No So Scary Halloween Party and I thought I would share a recap with you.

First, separate tickets must be purchased for this event {about $150 per person}.  I always recommend that my clients use this day as a 'rest' day {if they're spending a whole week at Disney} -- sleep in or do a later character breakfast and then enjoy the resort pool that afternoon so they're rested for this event {that lasts until Midnight}.  Plus they aren't buying a ticket to Disney theme park AND a ticket to MNSSHP for this day.

Logistics -- buy your ticket early as the closer it gets to Halloween the harder it is to get a ticket.  You can enter the park at 4p.  They'll give you a wristband when you enter the park, a bag for your candy, and a map.

The event officially starts at 7p {I'll make a cute little announcement at that time} but you can eat or do rides while you wait for the actually 'start' time.  The party ends at midnight.

Attire -- You can dress up in a costume {would be SUPER fun to do a family costume} if you want {I would say 25% or less of the crowd was in costumes the night I went} or a 'regular' Disney outfit.  I chose a shirt and some Halloween ears I already had since I decided to go the morning before. ;)

Attractions -- Character meet & greets, Trick or Treating, a Parade, Fireworks, themed food, fireworks, and of course the rides!

My schedule for the night -- I started at Tomorrowland and worked my way to the back of the park, over to Frontierland, and back to Main Street.

TOMORROWLAND

Space Mountain {10 minute wait}

FANTASYLAND

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train {40 minute wait}
Garlic Parm Chicken Tenders at Pinocchio's Village Haus {these were VERY garlicy, reminded me of Buffalo Wild Wing's Garlic Parm Wings, so beware!  They were fine, but I probably wouldn't order them again}

LIBERTY SQUARE
Magic Potion Slushie {this was good & I would get it again}  It turns from blue to green

FRONTIERLAND
Tiana's Bayou {15 minute wait}

TRICK OR TREATED
I stopped by two stations just to check it out {didn't need candy since I didn't have my kids with me}  They shoveled candy into each persons bag.  This is not a piece or two at each stop.  If I had little kids, I would 100% do this in lieu of traditional trick or treating.

ADVENTURLAND
I skipped on this night

MAIN STREET
Met Mickey & Minnie  at the Town Square Theatre {60 minute wait}

Walked through the Main Street Bakery to see all the pretty treats

PARADE
8:15p {also had an 11:15p option}

TOMORROWLAND {again}
Tron {25 minute wait}

Halloween Sundae at Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies {good, would have been better for me if it had vanilla ice cream instead of caramel, but not bad}

FIREWORKS
10:00p

*The only thing I didn't do what I would have liked to was the Hocus Pocus show on Main Street at 9:05p or 10:35p, but I opted to hit the road since I had a 2 hour drive home.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.  I would be happy to answer them for you.
