Bathroom Facelift

Earlier this year, I got the urge to add removable wallpaper to something and figured the bathroom was a safe, small place to start.  We had the bathroom painted {walls are Sherwin Williams Realist Beige and ceiling is Sherwin Williams Indigo} when we moved in, so we just added the wallpaper to the East wall.  Other than the wallpaper, we just swapped out the mirror and hung this wash your hands sign.  Eventually I want to replace the sink and vanity, but this is holding me over for the time being. :)

Splish, Splash!

Gone are the quiet, relaxing baths.  Jordyn's all about splashing, climbing and yelling in the bathtub.  I think her voice echos more in there, she just yells and then laughs over and over!  Silly girl! 

Side Note: I started filling the bathtub for her last week and run to unload the dishwasher.  I totally forgot about it.  I ran in when I remembered and shut the water off just.in.time as it was LEVEL with the side of the tub...Whoops!! 

2 Things I Love...Around my Home

it's tuesday...

which means another round [well, my 1st...but you get the idea...] of two things i love... around my home!

Here are my two things for the week....



Nothing fansy...but we got it as a wedding gift and I have it above the doorway into our bedroom. It helped me feel like 'it was official' when I didn't feel married yet.
I don't know if this is a common feeling as a newlywed or if it was because we lived together [shame on us!] before we were married...but I just love it!

Okay...I cheated a little...I love the whole room! It's my favorite...not because it's the bathroom but because it's a fun color. My mom and sisters [2] bought me the decor when I moved away and I just fell in love with it. When I moved [again] I decided to paint charcoal circles on the wall [well I decided to have my now husband do it...he was thrilled to say the least!] It's fun...and I love it! Oh yes...the saying is kinda fun too! :)
