We had a great Mother's Day weekend!
Saturday evening we had a housewarming party for friends
and she sent all the moms home with a flower bouquet!
Sunday we went to church, I was spoiled with gifts {a flower arrangement, chocolates, a mani/pedi gift certificate, and a large planter for outside}, and then we spent the afternoon floating in the pool and watching the Cubs game. That evening we ordered pizza and watched Remarkably Bright Creatures, which I loved. The day also included a couple of calls and Facetimes with family. Although we missed our moms & we're anxious to get back to Iowa soon, I told Adam I felt more content & grateful this Mother's Day than I have for several years. It was a really great day -- I felt loved by my entire family and spoiled that we were able to be together all day!
