A couple of weeks ago, the kids and I went on a picnic. It was a hot day {it's been hot in Iowa all of June this year -- like 90's -- makes me scared for July/August!} but there was a nice breeze, so when the kids asked for a picnic {an almost daily request around these parts!} I quickly packed and we headed out. Unfortunately, we forgot a blanket, but we did remember our favorite reusable picnic plates!!
