Date Night @ the Drive In

Friday night we dropped J off with her Grandma and Grandpa and headed out for a date night.  It was heavenly.  We went to the drive-in movie theatre.  It was a first for Adam and I hadn't been to one in years.  I didn't take my camera, but our little SUV was perfect, we backed it in, reclined the seats part way down, and made a huge blanket/pillow bed.  We watched Taken 2 [really good] and Trouble with the Curve [I have no idea!].  I really wanted to see both of them but anyone who knows be knows I would never be able to stay up until midnight for the 2nd showing.  So, much to my husband's dismay, I slept through the second movie of our date night.  Honestly though, it was perfect.  [minus the doggie nose prints on the back window...Murdock! & the rain...for the first time in MONTHS!] I got to snuggle with my husband, wear sweatpants, and still get out of the house.  Plus, the movie got over so late my MIL kept Jordyn overnight [figures it's the only night it months she decided to sleep through the night and not get up until after 8am!  stinker!]

Perfect start to a relaxing weekend!
